Hosted by China's Ministry of Commerce, organized by the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) and China International Medical Healthcare Co., the "Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) China Medical Equipment and Technology Seminar" conducted a field study in Ningbo from April 23-24. Thirty-four healthcare officials from BRI countries gathered at David Medical, engaging in profound dialogues about life sciences and the future of healthcare.

On the morning of April 23rd, delegates toured David Medical’s headquarter, exploring the cultural gallery and product exhibition hall. Historic photographs chronicled the company’s 30-year journey, bearing witness to its masterful craftsmanship and R&D prowess in medical manufacturing. The delegates marveled: "This epitomizes the perseverance and breakthroughs of Chinese medical enterprises."
In the smart workshop and testing center, delegates observed the meticulous production processes of core products including infant incubators, infant radiant warmers, and electric endoscopic staplers, showcasing cutting-edge industrial capabilities. "Every piece of equipment here reflects reverence for life," remarked one attendee.
Second Stop: Sparks of Innovation
Dual-Perspective Exchange on Technology & Clinical Practice
At the afternoon symposium, David Medical team presented a three-tiered demonstration, showcasing the innovative ecosystem of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China".
Wen Jie, Manager Assistant of International Dept., outlined David Medical’s overseas expansion strategy, significantly enhancing delegates' understanding of the company's scale and development.

Zhu Haosheng, GM Assistant, gave a detailed introduction to the needs of the national health authorities, the market and clinicians for comprehensive department medical technology solutions, as well as the country's ward construction standards and guidelines in recent years. Through a real-life demonstration of the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) solution, he demonstrated David Medical's full-chain service capabilities from equipment to smart management systems.
Globalization is an important and inevitable measure for David Medical. The company will further optimize its global market development strategy, improve its international sales network, and strengthen localization construction to better meet the needs of customers in different regions and countries.

A Visit to The First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University (Fangqiao Campus)
On the 24th, accompanied by David Medical, delegates visited the Fangqiao Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University. In the NICU ward, they witnessed the key role of medical equipment such as infant incubators and infant radiant warmers in the treatment of premature infants.
"The seamless integration of Chinese technology with clinical needs is astounding!" shared an African delegate. This is exactly the scenario that the BRI medical cooperation hopes to achieve - to bring technology out of the laboratory and truly protect the hope of every family.
